Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide and administer respiratory care under supervision, including ventilatory support, airway care, and related therapies across our New Jersey facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate degree.
• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License and/or NJ RRT certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists in diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders per physician prescription.
• Performs cardiopulmonary evaluation, monitoring, respiratory therapy, and patient education.
• Operates and monitors respiratory equipment and life-support systems.
• Records all procedures and patient responses in the EPIC EMR.
• Responds to and participates in emergency and trauma codes.
