Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire in Albany, GA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time, direct-hire position in a high-volume hospital. You will support adult, pediatric, and ICU patients with ventilator management and advanced airway care.

The role requires 1 year floor and 2 years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Georgia licensure. Expect night shifts, 12-hour rotations, no on-call, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience for floor respiratory therapy
• Minimum 2 years experience for critical care/ICU respiratory therapy
• Must be able to work adult ICU and ventilated patients

Responsibilities

• Perform all respiratory therapy treatments including nebulizers, airway management, CPT, bedside PFTs, and ABG collection
• Manage and monitor ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and heated aerosol therapies
• Provide respiratory support for ICU patients including ventilator management and blood gas interpretation
• Participate in advanced ICU procedures including arterial line placement and intubation support
• Perform bronchoscopy assistance and critical care respiratory interventions
• Interpret ABGs, recognize critical values, and communicate findings promptly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate clinical documentation
• Support charge responsibilities when assigned as Charge RT or Clinical Coordinator
