Responsible for hiring and retention of shop floor employees and manage time and attendance, performance, and employee concerns.
Review daily operations by checking on workmanship, adherence to standard work standards, efficiency, safe work conditions, acceptable housekeeping, and compliance specifications.
Identify training gaps and provide recommendations on developing skills and training needs and future CI projects.
Oversee and supporting all new projects ideas related to continuous improvement and quality operations.
Organize operations within assigned work area and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules while working with the school systems and schedules in the most efficient and effective manner.
Recommend workplace layouts, production methods, and production efficiencies by auditing operations to improve production flow and reduce costs.
Responsible for building and maintaining mutual beneficial relationships, facilitating communications, and coordinating activities between Augusta Tech and Richmond County Board of Education.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Business, or related field required
Years of Experience: 4 or more years of experience required, manufacturing experience with supervisory experience preferred
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications, SAP
