Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RPA Customer Engagement Specialist based in United States.

This role helps expand the adoption of robotic process automation across federal healthcare and supported organizations.

You will identify operational challenges and connect them with practical automation opportunities.

The position combines customer engagement, process discovery, marketing, and digital transformation.

You will build relationships with leaders and business process owners while developing a sustainable opportunity pipeline.

The role also supports demonstrations, briefings, outreach campaigns, and customer-facing communications.

Success is measured by meaningful opportunities progressing from initial conversations to viable automation initiatives.

This is an opportunity to help reduce administrative workload, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable operational value through automation.

Accountabilities
  • Identify and develop new RPA opportunities across healthcare organizations, treatment facilities, program offices, and other supported groups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with organizational leaders, process owners, and key stakeholders to understand operational challenges and automation needs.
  • Conduct initial process-discovery discussions to assess workflows, pain points, workloads, and desired outcomes.
  • Determine whether processes are suitable candidates for automation based on factors such as volume, repetition, standardization, manual effort, and error risk.
  • Partner with technical teams and business analysts to assess the feasibility, value, and requirements of prospective automation opportunities.
  • Guide prospective customers through the appropriate RPA intake and service-request processes and maintain engagement throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute outreach and awareness strategies, including briefings, demonstrations, webinars, roadshows, conferences, and leadership engagements.
  • Create customer-facing presentations, capability briefs, one-pagers, success stories, use cases, and other promotional materials highlighting the value of automation.
  • Coordinate demonstrations of existing automation solutions and communicate measurable benefits such as labor savings, improved accuracy, faster processing, and stronger compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the RPA team during early-stage discovery, ensuring expectations, requirements, and next steps are clearly communicated.
  • Track outreach activity, customer engagements, qualified opportunities, intake submissions, and projects entering the development pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and engagement metrics and provide recurring status reports to program leadership.
  • Document projected and realized business benefits and use customer feedback and engagement data to recommend improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to replicate successful automation solutions across organizations with similar processes.
  • Support content and communications for approved websites, collaboration platforms, and other RPA awareness channels.
Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to maintain the required clearance.
  • Experience in customer engagement, account management, marketing, program support, business development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, senior stakeholders, and business process owners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations, capability briefings, demonstrations, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Ability to identify business challenges and translate them into potential technology, automation, or process-improvement opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements and prospective opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with robotic process automation, intelligent automation, workflow automation, digital transformation, or business process improvement is preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal healthcare, Department of Defense, military treatment facilities, or other federal organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with UiPath or comparable RPA platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM, opportunity tracking, pipeline management, SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar technologies is advantageous.
  • Experience conducting business process discovery or evaluating workflows for automation potential is preferred.
  • Ability to recognize processes that are repetitive, rules-based, high-volume, time-consuming, error-prone, or dependent on manual data entry and system transfers.
  • Strong presentation, relationship-building, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with program, technical, and customer teams.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance.
