Job summary

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas, is recruiting for an Accountant 3/4 in Anchorage. This position handles Net Profit Share Lease (NPSL) activity, reviews reports for accuracy, and verifies royalty payments in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate Net Profit Share Lease (NPSL) reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Calculate and verify royalty values for ANS RSA leases and liaise with lessees to correct misreported values.
• Compile statistical data for public website, reconcile run tickets and royalty payments, and back up the royalty accountant 3.
• Collaborate with royalty accountants and programmers to ensure accurate royalty reporting.
