Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A within 90 days of employment is required.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials; operate tools such as chainsaws and chippers.
• Must read maps to determine right-of-way; communicate clearly and professionally.
• Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes hand and power tools to clear vegetation in the right-of-way.
• Operates heavy equipment (loader trucks, chipper trucks, chippers) per safety rules.
• Removes hazardous trees and trims vegetation near power lines.
• Inspects trucks, tools, PPE, and first aid kits for safety and readiness.
• Meets ROW Operator I progression requirements, including training and certifications.
