Job summary

Burrtec is seeking a Right-of-Way Laborer in Southern California to support street and utility ROW maintenance. This full-time position requires physical outdoor work, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include cleaning city-designated areas, landscaping and bulky-item collection in ROW zones, operating and exiting trucks repeatedly, and assisting with road-call clean-ups. Minimum 1 year in a safety-sensitive environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of city-designated areas.
• Landscaping and manual collection of bulky items and debris within ROW areas.
• Weed-abating duties using weed eaters, mowers, blowers, and related tools.
• Enter and exit the truck repeatedly throughout shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
• Properly use and store equipment; follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with road call clean-ups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
