Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our portfolio across Prince George's County, including Bowie. You will travel between properties to perform preventative maintenance and respond to service tickets with care and professionalism.

The role requires beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, with experience in building maintenance or a trades education. Weekend/evening work and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or an education in the trades.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel between properties in Prince George's County to perform preventive maintenance.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs.
• Preserve building appearance and safety through general upkeep, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Work weekends/evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include:

• Ability to travel (roving) amongst a portfolio of properties Prince George's County
• Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
• Resolving maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Preserving the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service
• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergencies
