Job summary

Ecowaste Solutions is hiring a Roving CDL-A truck driver to operate vehicles for residential trash and recycling pickup in Whitehouse, Texas. You will inspect vehicles, report issues, and travel extensively to support various locations in need.

A high school diploma and at least one year of Class A driving experience are required. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years.
• CDL Class A required.

Job description

As a Roving CDL-A, you will operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. This is a driving position for deploying to business units experiencing staffing shortages or newly acquired locations., you will lift and carry residential waste and deposits into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to the management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively on short notice.
• Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations
• Carry out other duties as needed or instructed

Shift/Schedule

• Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as necessary
• Additional hours may be needed.
• Shift is 10-12 Hours
