Job summary

Planned Companies is hiring Private Security Guards to provide routine patrol and safety checks, gate house security, mobile patrol, fire watch and control room monitoring.

Responsibilities include patrolling, verifying access credentials, securing exits and entries, monitoring CCTV, responding to alarms, and submitting daily reports to management. License and diplomas required; SORA license and driver’s license must be valid.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard.
• New Jersey SORA license and Clean/Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of local, regional, and state legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Experience with Closed Circuit (CCTV) surveillance systems.
• Training in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS) and self-defense.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.

• Report uninvited guests, suspicious possessions, and all unlawful acts to the proper authorities.
• Create and submit daily surveillance and incident reports to Planned Security Services management.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Routine security & safety patrol of property and structures to ensure order and establish a security presence.
