Job summary

Weyerhaeuser’s St. Helens Tree Farm operation based in Castle Rock, WA, is seeking a Rover Equipment Operator to work safely in a market-focused logging environment. This is a full-time hourly role, with IAM-AW representation.

Pay is $39.18 per hour, with comprehensive benefits under the labor agreement. Responsibilities include operating shovel logger, loader, processor, and skidder, plus loading software usage, load tickets, and daily load planning.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience operating equipment in a logging environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Demonstrated ability to meet the technical and physical demands of the position.
• Able to walk, stand and work in rough terrain on a continuous basis.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 40-50 lbs intermittently; lifting/carrying tools up to ~40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate shovel logger, loader, processor, and skidder as required.
• Flexibly operate different logging equipment to meet business needs.
• Meet safety, environmental, and production goals while processing stems to standards.
• Load trucks and create load tickets and daily load planning with loading software.
• Collaborate with production team, maintain records, and perform routine maintenance.
