Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Georgia is seeking a skilled operator to setup and process plywood parts through routers and other wood-cutting machines, ensuring parts match prints and specs.

You will read prints, measure with tape, calipers and depth gauges, perform changeovers, feed stock, monitor quality, and participate in daily 5S and safety practices; familiar with LO/TO and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read parts prints, tape measure, caliper, and depth gauges.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred to help troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work with computerized equipment.
• PIV License as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
