Job summary

The Campus Climbing and Training in Boulder, CO, is seeking a route setter with competition experience and the ability to climb V12 or harder. You will participate in regular setting sessions, primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m., contributing to a program that serves high-level national and world-ranked climbers. Ideal candidates have route-setting experience, can handle a V12+ climbing level, and are eager to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment alongside

Qualifications

• Experience as a competition climber or route setter.
• Ability to climb V12 or harder.
• Available Tue/Wed 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for setting.

Responsibilities

• Set routes in the V3–V15 range.
• Work Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Join an elite facility serving top national/world-ranked climbers.

Job description

The Campus Climbing and Training is an elite facility in Boulder Co that aims to provide a space for high end competition athletes to train. We have been open since January of 2025. We are home to many nationally and world ranked athletes but also provide a space for newer competitive climbers to train.

THE POSITION

We are looking to bring a route setter on to our team with competition experience either as a competitor or a route setter.

We set on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00a to 4:00p and are constantly setting between v3 and v15.

You must have the ability to climb v12 or harder – competition experience required.

There is possibility for additional hours at the front desk with additional benefits down the line if this is the right applicant.
