Job summary

United Rentals seeks a reliable Route Service Driver to perform daily service routes, service and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, and water systems at customer sites. You will maintain professional customer contact, follow safety protocols, and perform minor repairs as needed.

Prior driving experience and a valid license are required; CDL not required. This safety-sensitive role includes frequent customer interaction and opportunities for additional service recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL license not required). DOT medical card required before starting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Industry experience is a plus; training provided on products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
• Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
• Complete daily routes while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatcher.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Vacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
• Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for additional services and supplies.
