Job summary

Culligan Water is seeking a Route Driver to efficiently deliver water treatment products to homes and businesses on a fixed route. You will handle invoicing and collections for delivered products and provide high-quality service to customers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license; cross-training as a service tech and training on water softeners and RO systems will occur after onboarding. Safety and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols; strong timeliness and organization.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer issues professionally.
• Valid driver’s license required; Class E license within four weeks of training.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; cross-trained as a service tech.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water treatment products to homes and businesses on a set route.
• Prepare, process, and execute delivery orders; collect payments and issue invoices.
• Handle customer issues, complaints and problems in a courteous, prompt manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and company regulations.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• After completing route, clean truck and coordinate with manager for additional tasks.

Culligan Water is currently seeking a route driver to join our team. The Route Driver performs deliveries along a specific route and handles invoicing and collections for product delivered. Additionally, drivers are expected to deliver a high degree of service that exceeds the expectations of customers.

• Delivering water treatment products to homes and businesses in an efficient and timely manner.
• Preparing, processing, and executing delivery orders in additional to collecting related monies and issuing invoices.
• Handling customer issues, complaints and problems in a courteous and prompt manner while exhibiting an overall customer–focused style of service.
• Following all safety protocols and company regulations.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• After completing route and taking care of daily duties of cleaning out truck and putting items away, check with manager for additional tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school Diploma or equivalent GED
• 1-3 years route experience preferred, although not required
• Ability to use a handheld computer
• Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols along with a strong sense of timeliness and organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• A valid driver’s license
• Position requires regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Class E drivers license, must be obtained within first four weeks of training
• Cross trained as a service tech
• Installs/service of water softeners and reverse osmosis drinking systems after training in routes
