Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Route Service Sales Representative in Lake Charles, LA to manage and grow a base of customer accounts. You will drive a company van, perform routine cleaning on customer sites, and expand service offerings with existing customers.

Customer service and relationship building are essential to success in this role. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and a proactive service mindset, with opportunities for career advancement within the Rental organization.

Qualifications

• DOT medical certification required prior to first day.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to a set customer base on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis with no-touch cleaning equipment.
• Drive a company-owned step van to multiple stops and load/unload equipment as needed.
• Grow the route by selling additional products and services to current accounts.
• Respond to inquiries and proactively solve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Clean and maintain the vehicle interior and equipment; build rapport with customers on assigned routes.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ongoing service and retention.

Cintas isseeking a Route Service Sales Representative - UltraClean to manage and grow customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provideexcellent customer service to a set customer base on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis by cleaning customers’ surfaces using customized no-touch cleaning equipment
• Drivea customized company-owned step van to and from numerous customer stops throughout the day, as well as lifting and carrying equipment into and out of customer accounts
• Growthe route by selling additional products and services to current customer accounts
• Ensurecustomer satisfaction by responding to inquiries and requests and pro-active problem solving
• Cleaning and maintaining the equipment and interior of the vehicle. Specific routes and customers are assigned in order to build a rapport with the customers serviced.
• Customer service and relationship-building is crucial in this position.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT)for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. In order to comply with DOT requirements,qualified candidates must, prior to their first day of employment:

• Have an active driver's license
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Obtain a DOT medical certification
• Provide documentation regarding their previous employment

• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• A High School diploma, GEDor Military Service
• The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service orientation
