United Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Route Service Driver in Charlotte, NC to conduct daily sanitation service routes, clean and stock portable toilets and related equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable on-site support.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. CDL is preferred, and weekend work may be required. Training will be provided on products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card must be obtained prior to starting employment.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred.
• Safety-focused mindset with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to mount/dismount trucks and lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Vacuum, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
• Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Provide onsite moves of equipment and pick-up/delivery as requested.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and maintain logs.
• Load and unload units and fuel vehicles as needed.
• Interact with customers and suggest additional services and supplies.
