Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Route Service Technician to complete daily service routes and maintain portable restroom units at customer sites. You will clean, stock supplies, and ensure safe operation of a Route Service truck while keeping strong communication with dispatchers and customers.

Responsibilities include sanitizing units, stocking consumables, and recommending additional services. A valid license and safety focus are essential; some weekend work may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred; CDL not required; DOT medical card before starting.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Industry experience is a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
• Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
• Maintain professional customer contact and open lines of communication with the dispatcher.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures and safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Vacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
• Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for any additional services and supplies needed.
