Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Driver with Reliable Onsite Services to complete daily service routes, service and stock portable toilets and related equipment, and maintain professional customer contact. Some weekend work may be required and you may work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, operating a Route Service truck, servicing at customer sites, and communicating with dispatch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL not required) and DOT medical card must be obtained before starting.
• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.
• Diligent attention to safety is essential.
• Industry experience is a plus; training provided on products, services, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service routes in sequence as routed by dispatch personnel.
• Service, clean and stock portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.
• Complete daily routes while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with the Dispatcher.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures and safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
• Vacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer site.
• Stock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanks.
• Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary.
• Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for any additional services and supplies needed.
