Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Louisville, KY is seeking a Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver to manage a route and operate a Vacuum Truck to pick up industrial waste from customers such as automotive repair shops and quick oil change businesses and transport to disposal sites.

You will visit 10-12 sites daily, perform on-site manual tasks, and ensure timely services and accurate documentation while expanding customer relationships on a designated route.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck or similar equipment is beneficial.
• Commercial driver experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and B2B sales aptitude.
• Ability to operate in all weather conditions and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow all safety policies.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Perform manual tasks on-site to meet customer needs.
• Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Document and label all work accurately.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts and prospect new ones.
• Own the assigned route and ensure customer satisfaction at service time.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and DOT requirements.
