Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Route Sales Trainee to learn to be a Route Sales Representative or Route Delivery Driver. In training you will learn sorting, inventorying, loading, delivering, and merchandising daily orders to retail customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Obtain DOT medical certification and maintain it as required.
• Safely and efficiently operate a CMV including daily vehicle inspections and log keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace and vehicle.
• Safely drive and deliver products to retail stores within designated service windows.
• Adhere to FMCSA/DOT rules and local regulations; cooperate with DOT roadside inspections.
• Build strong customer relations and communicate sales solutions; use order planner to stock shelves and promote displays.
