Job summary

Schwan's Company in Minnesota is seeking a dependable CDL Class B route driver to deliver products, stock shelves, and merchandise to store aisles, ensuring product availability for grocery shoppers. The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend travel and an early start.

You will unload products, place orders, and use handheld devices to complete daily tasks, while building strong in-store relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement is required.
• Experience in DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse settings is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and lift and move frozen products.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage while delivering products and merchandising to ensure shelf availability.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend travel; early morning start.
• Unload products and place them in back rooms; collect proof of delivery.
• Place orders and drive sales by securing display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise products, maintain display space, and rotate stock as needed.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily tasks.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.

What You Will Do

In this CDL Class B position, you provide route coverage while delivering product, placing orders, and merchandising product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers. In addition, this position provides opportunities to develop the leadership skills needed for leadership positions.

What We Look For

• Previous DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
