Safety-Kleen in Austin, TX is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route. Safety-Kleen will pay for you to obtain your CDL.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.
• Meet facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirements.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing sites.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries and pickups on time.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
