Job summary

ZWILLING J.A. Henckels is seeking a Part Time Route Driver for its premium sharpening program.

You will pick up and deliver sharpened knife sets to restaurants, culinary schools, and foodservice partners, while maintaining excellent customer relations and brand representation. Responsibilities include coordinating with technicians, using CRM tools, and identifying product and service opportunities to support account growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering or servicing customers is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift and move knife sets and boxes.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scheduled pick-up and delivery of sharpened knife sets per route and schedule.
• Represent the brand professionally to clients and build long-term relationships.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and reliability.
• Coordinate with sharpening technicians and customer service on schedules.
• Use tablets, Salesforce and route tools to update accounts and visits.
• Identify opportunities to recommend ZWILLING products and services to customers.

As a Route Driver for our sharpening program, you will be the trusted link between ZWILLING’s legacy and the kitchens that rely on our expertise.

As a Route Sales Representative, you will serve as the face of ZWILLING’s sharpening service, providing timely, professional, and courteous pick-up and delivery of knife sets to restaurants, culinary schools, and foodservice partners. You will ensure every client receives expertly sharpened knives, enhancing their kitchen efficiency and safety. You will also build strong customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and utilize company technology to support customer accounts and service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduled Pick-Up & Delivery: Deliver freshly sharpened sets & products according to established routes and schedules.
• Brand Representation: Uphold ZWILLING’s reputation for quality and professionalism with every client interaction, fostering long-term relationships.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain your delivery vehicle to ZWILLING’s high standards of cleanliness and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our sharpening technicians and customer service team to coordinate service schedules and address client needs.
• Technology & CRM Usage: Utilize company-provided tablets, Salesforce, route management tools, and other digital platforms to access customer information, document visits, update account details, and support sales and payment activity.
• Product Sales & Recommendations: Identify opportunities to recommend and sell ZWILLING products and services based on customer needs while supporting overall account growth.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous route driving, delivery, or sales experience preferred; clean driving record required.
• Professionalism: Strong commitment to customer service and representing the ZWILLING brand with pride.
• Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and transport knife sets and boxes up to 30 lbs.
• Bilingual Skills are a plus

Compensation Range

$20.00/HR - 24.00/HR + Incentive Bonus.

Hours

Every Other Week. Monday- Friday. Schedule to fluctuate dictated by Business needs.
