Position

Route Sales Representative. The primary purpose of this role is to represent the company in the field, selling and delivering products to ensure customers receive high-quality service and timely deliveries, with the goal of increasing sales and profits.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the use of space to increase sales
• Seek and secure opportunities for incremental sales
• Show the proper use of POS to drive sales
• Ensure servicing the stores according to their sales to eliminate Out of Stock situations
• Meet all sales goals and generate new leads to solicit new business and build the organization’s client base
• Manage inventory and place orders
• Load, unload and transport products to their destinations

Growth

• Service stores
• Grow routes to create new routes that increase service and sales
• Intelligent and tactical use of discounts for customers and jobbers to maximize sales
• Set up and manage routes to reduce cost: RTM, time management, educate on good business practices

Education & Experience

Required:

• 2 years in DSD (Direct Store Delivery) sales experience
• 1 year managerial experience (e.g., merchandisers)
• Good numerical skills
• Prior supermarket sales experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Valid driver\'s license
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
• Ability to get in and out of the vehicle regularly

Preferred:

• Prior food or salty snack industry experience
• +3 years managerial experience
• +5 years in Customer Service Industry
• +5 years of experience with supermarket channel
