Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Vermont is seeking a Route Sales Professional to merchandise, stock and rotate products to guarantee freshness in grocery stores. You will drive the route truck, complete DOT daily logs, and build strong relationships with store teams to execute promotions.

Starting at 2am–4am with Wednesdays and Sundays off, you will leverage sales data to open new display space, introduce new products, and manage invoices and deposits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• Chauffer License if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop and kneel for extended periods.
• 1–3 years of related DSD experience preferred.
• English language proficiency to converse with the public.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays.
• Drive sales by securing new display space and using data to inform store strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while executing promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within accounts.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures for products, invoices and cash with inventory accuracy.
• Safely drive the route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit required documentation, paperwork and deposits on time.
