Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Route Rider in Indianapolis, IN. You will merchandise, stock, and rotate products to ensure freshness while driving the route truck and logging DOT records.

Responsibilities include securing new display space, promoting promotions, and building strong customer relationships across accounts with the goal of increasing sales and shelf presence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Chauffer License required if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods and reach with fingers.
• 1–3 years of related experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English to interact with customers and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and rotate products on shelves and displays to ensure quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using data to guide store strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while executing promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space in existing accounts and new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlements for invoices, cash, and inventory counts.
• Safely drive the route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit required paperwork and deposits on time.
