Job summary

Service Linen Supply / MediCleanse is seeking a Route Relief Driver to join the Clackamas team. This full-time role involves ensuring accurate invoicing and inventory, reviewing paperwork for special needs, and identifying upsell opportunities to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, delivering products, maintaining strong customer rapport, and coordinating with Route Managers and Key Account Managers to address current needs and gaps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Advanced education is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Attention to detail and punctual, reliable work ethic.
• Excellent driving record and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer invoicing and inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
• Review customer paperwork for special needs and upsell opportunities.
• Load and unload product, organize and secure items in the vehicle.
• Deliver fresh product and collect soiled product for laundering.
• Build rapport with customers and seek feedback on service levels.
• Consult customers on additional product options and collaborate with route teams.

Route Relief Driver

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour

You will join our team as a full-time Route Relief Driver. You will ensure that all customer invoicing and inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, prior to each delivery day, you will review customer paperwork for special needs – identifying upsell opportunities, and how to best position our products or services to meet client’s needs.

Other responsibilities include:

Loading and unloading product

Organizing and securing products in your vehicle

Delivering fresh product, and collecting soiled product for laundering

Consistently building rapport with customers, and adding value through your delivery

Monitoring and seeking feedback from customers on perceived levels of service

Consulting customers on additional product options

Collaborating with Route Managers, Service Managers and Key Account Managers to creating solutions for current customer needs and product gaps

Requirements

As a Route Relief Driver for Service Linen Supply, you must maintain a clean and professional appearance. You must always practice appropriate lifting and carrying techniques, and extend every safety measure when driving, and when servicing accounts. Other requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Advanced Education, Preferred
• 2 Years Customer Service Experience
• Self motivated
• No Prior Delivery or Route Experience, Preferred
• Excellent Driving Record
• Attention to Detail, Punctual, Reliable Work Ethic
• Strong Verbal, Written, & Mathematical skills
• Ability to Work 8-10 Hrs/Day (start time varies depending on route)
• This is a safety sensitive position requiring post offer Physical Ability Testing (this job requires frequent heavy lifting), Post - Offer Drug Screening & Background Check
