Job summary

T.G. Lee Dairy is seeking dependable CDLB Route Relief Drivers to provide relief when drivers are on vacation or off. You will back up multiple routes, maintain route knowledge, and deliver products safely with a straight or pup truck.

Responsibilities include on-time deliveries, strong customer service, and clear communication with supervisors. Must have Class B CDL with Air Brake and DFA/MVR/DOT compliance, with English proficiency and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to 2 years of experience driving a straight truck or pup truck within the last 5 years preferred.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements.
  • Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records.
  • Must meet all DOT requirements.
  • Certification and/or License – valid Class B/Class B with Air Brake CDL.
  • Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements.
  • Skill in proficient computer usage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a straight truck or pup truck to deliver products according to the schedule and supervisor instructions.
  • Provide on-call relief and cover trips when drivers are away.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of routes and potentially ride routes to stay current.
  • Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and customers to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
  • Demonstrate high standards of customer service and safety in all deliveries.

T.G. Lee Dairyhasimmediate job openings for dependable CDLB Route Relief Driver to provide relief/backup support for company when drivers are on vacation or other time off. May provide on-call relief, cover partial trips or fill in due to staffing needs. Demonstrate knowledge of multiple delivery routes and possess necessary qualifications and experience to drive class B vehicles per the relief driving assignment. Keep up-to-date knowledge of routes, which may include going on route ride(s) to keep active knowledge. Operate a straight truck or pup truck to deliver products in a safe and timely manner to customers according to the delivery route schedule as determined by the supervisor. Demonstrate high standards of customer service. Communicate frequently with peers, supervisors, and others.

SCHEDULE:
  • Monday to Friday - 3:00 am until complete
OUR CDL DRIVERS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:
  • Average earnings are $1300 to $1600 per week
