Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking motivated, sales-driven Route Relief Drivers to service customers, grow accounts, and earn real commission on the business you build. This is a B2B sales and account management role with a truck, not just a delivery job.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience is required.
• Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck and handle light loading/unloading.
• Must pass a drug test and clinic physical.
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; account management and outside sales.
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products.
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services.
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule.
• Maintain relationships with customers and resolve service issues promptly.

Compensation

• Starting pay $21.97 - $27.49 an hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location
• Once assigned a route average total annual compensation for Route Sales & Service Representatives exceeds $80,000, with uncapped commission potential based on the new business and account growth you drive

Duties & Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales, not just delivery
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck
• Build long-term customer relationships through responsive, professional service; listen to and resolve service complaints, keeping your supervisor informed
• Maintain inventory and follow company inventory-control policies
• Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck, and maintain a professional appearance at every stop
• Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently
• Attend training and service department meetings

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience (required)
• Valid Class C driver's license (no CDL required) with a clean driving record for the last 3 years (required)
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck
• Comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with bags of linen up to 50 lbs daily (required)
• Must pass a drug test and clinic physical
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems with minimal training
