Responsibilities

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Route Sales and Service Driver - Route Relief. You will be driving and providing services to customers on designated routes in your community. We are looking for highly motivated, sales-oriented drivers. This position involves sales and offers commission based on your development.

The Route Relief Driver pay ranges from $22.18 to $23.35 per hour, with the starting pay determined by education, experience, qualifications, and location.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience
• Clean driver’s license
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck
• Comfortable loading/unloading up to 50 lbs bags of linen daily
• Pass drug tests and clinic physical

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance per company standards
• Solicit new business from prospective customers
• Inform regular customers about new products or services
• Deliver laundry and uniforms to customers’ businesses
• Collect or pick up rejected or unsold laundry and uniforms; load/unload truck
• Build and maintain customer goodwill through courteous service and assistance
• Handle customer complaints professionally and inform supervisors as needed
• Maintain inventory and follow inventory control policies
• Collect payments, make change, and record transactions
• Obtain customer signatures on invoices
• Record delivery and inventory data on daily invoices
• Clean the truck interior and perform routine maintenance
• Attend training and service department meetings
