Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to manage routes across Petoskey and neighboring MI locations. You will display products, maintain backroom organization, and coordinate inventory with store staff. Training is provided, with weekly hours around 8 and potential increases near holidays.

Starting pay is $14.00/hour with increases to $14.80 after 6 months and $15.50 after 1 year. Flexible scheduling and a company tablet are included, along with 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple locations on route
• Technological competency to learn and use a company tablet
• Must meet scheduling needs including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Serve assigned routes across retail locations with merchandising and inventory tasks
• Display products in greeting card departments and backrooms
• Maintain organized backrooms and coordinate product orders
• Communicate with management regarding service and schedules
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets and minor fixture work as needed
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores using a company tablet
• Work independently and with a team
