Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Route Floater for full-time work in Toledo, OH. The role involves loading vehicles, delivering products to client locations, and supporting routes as needed.

You will maintain vehicle care, ensure cold food safety, and interact professionally with customers to promote AVI products. The ideal candidate is 21+, holds a valid license (CDL not required), can pass the DOT Physical, and can lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
