Job Summary

Route Driver – Vending (Full Time). The Route Driver operates a company vehicle over a predetermined route to deliver products, service vending machines, and maintain equipment. The position requires a strong customer‑service focus, a professional image, and the ability to work independently 98% of the day.

Location: Canteen – 3013 Hayneville Road, Montgomery, AL 36108. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Pay Range: $12.50 to $20.00 per hour, with potential commission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected, and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of driving experience required.
• Valid Non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Preferred 1–2 years of customer‑service experience or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Proficiency with handheld computers (training provided).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material‑handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, responsible for route, and work unsupervised 98% of the day.
