Job summary

Canteen North America in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Route Driver - Vending to deliver products and service vending machines along an established route. You are the face of the company and must maintain a professional image while building strong client relationships.

The role includes full-time hours, with occasional weekends, and requires a valid driver’s license. We offer training, opportunities for advancement, and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in customer service or related role.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, route management most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation for freshness at client locations.
• Provide excellent client/customer service in all aspects of job performance.
• Inform regular clients of new products/services; resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or distribute promo materials.
• Be accountable for receipts, invoices, cash, and products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time ROUTE DRIVER - VENDING position.
• Location: Canteen - 5739 Corporation Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33905. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, some weekends. Hours may vary. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous route delivery, loading trucks, and stocking products experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.

• Fixed Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains vending and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image of the company at all times while maintaining and building excellent client and customer relationships. This position has excellent advancement opportunities, providing employees with the foundation needed for entry level management opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Informs regular clients and customers of new products or services, listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C (unless otherwise indicated by state) driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer, training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.
