Job summary

• Record transactions, ensure cash and product accountability, and resolve service complaints.

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time ROUTE DRIVER - UTILITY position.

Location: Canteen - 13575 East 37th Avenue, Denver, CO 80239. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Thursday through Monday, 2:00 am start time. Further details upon interview.

Requirements: Previous experience in inventory, driving, and food handling preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.

Fixed Pay Rate: $28.40 per hour.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

Job Summary

Drives company‑owned truck over an established route to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from machines, and makes change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Service a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
• Assist Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
• Drive truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items and sundries to customer's place of business.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines. Collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise. Collect money from machines and refill bill and coin changers.
• Record transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; be accountable for cash and product.
• Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; inform regular customers of new products and/or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Select items from warehouse and load truck; prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
• Perform routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
