Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Route Driver – Utility to service the DC Metro Commissary in Chantilly, VA. This full‑time role requires availability for weekends, with a pay range of $21.00 to $25.00 per hour and shifts that may vary.

The driver will deliver items to customers, manage stock on shelves, handle cash from machines, and assist with opening/closing operations. Prior DOT medical certification and food handling experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Previous DOT medical certification.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• At least 1 year of food handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to customers' places of business on assigned routes.
• Assist with opening/closing operations and training of new route service personnel.
• Drive truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines; collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Collect money from machines, refill bill and coin changers, and record transactions; manage cash and products.
• Call existing customers to determine service adequacy and inform them of new products or services; address complaints.

Route Driver – Utility

Location: DC Metro Commissary – 4449 Brookfield Corporate Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151.

Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Availability to work weekends required. Further details upon interview.

Pay Range: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Serve a particular route or location during the absence of regular route or warehouse employee.
• Assist Customer Service Managers with opening and closing operations and training of new route service personnel.
• Drive truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries to customers' places of business.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines; collect stale, rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Collect money from machines, refill bill and coin changers, and record transactions on appropriate card or electronic device; accountable for cash and product.
• Call existing customers to determine adequacy of service; inform regular customers of new products or services; listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Select items from warehouse and load truck; prepare order forms for food and pastry products.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
