Qualifications

• Clean driving record with 2 or fewer moving violations in 3 years and no DWI/DUI in past 5 years for insurance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight using a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to routes and meet time-sensitive schedules with attention to detail.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and report issues to dispatch.
• Navigate using GPS and be comfortable with scanning devices.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the vehicle as needed; clean and sanitize the vehicle.

We have an opportunity for a Part-Time Delivery Driver in our Hermon, ME location!

BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Delivery Driver Job Highlights & Shift:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday with Possible Friday route deliveries variable shifts with possible overnight stays in hotel paid by company. Passport Required.

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
• Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Extended periods of sitting.
