Job Summary

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products or render services and fills and maintains vending and related equipment. The Route Driver is the face of the company and must project a professional and positive image at all times while building excellent client and customer relationships. The position has advancement opportunities for entry level management.

Compensation

Fixed Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

Location

7601 Riviera Boulevard, Miramar, FL 33023 (Canteen). Online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time Monday through Friday, hours may vary; availability to work some weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and administer them as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; report defective equipment to maintenance or technician dispatcher.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded with all required product before each route following outlined operational procedures.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with District procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Preferred 1–2 years experience in a customer service position or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Work independently; responsible for route and works unsupervised 98% of the day.
