Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a Route Driver to join our growing family. You will operate a box truck to deliver appliances and supplies between facilities and to customers, ensuring safe handling and on-time service.

Must be 21+, pass physical requirements, have a valid drivers license, and be able to lift 100+ pounds. We offer full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401K, paid holidays, and a generous bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• In good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 100 pounds, standing for extended periods, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities, apartment complexes, and route drivers.
• Observes and abides by traffic laws and road conditions while operating a motorized vehicle.
• Delivers appliances to maintenance managers as well as customers and provides prompt, accurate product delivery and communication.
• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle including fluid levels and tire condition to meet DOT requirements.
• Performs in-house deliveries when necessary.

• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle including: all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, evaluating general road worthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
