Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a dependable Route Driver in Richmond, VA. You will operate a box truck, delivering products to customers on a Monday–Friday schedule starting early in the morning.

Must be 21+, physically capable of lifting 60+ pounds, and have a valid driver's license with at least 1 year of box truck experience. Chadwell offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within our nationwide network.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes traffic laws and road signs while operating a motor vehicle.
• Delivers to customers and ensures prompt, accurate product delivery and communication.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections to meet DOT requirements.

Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-ownedmaintenance supply company with 30 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting more than 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.

How you will make an Impact

• Operates a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys, and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle includingall fluid levels, tire pressure, and tire condition, evaluating general roadworthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
