Job summary

Chadwell Supply in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Route Driver to operate a box truck and deliver products between distribution facilities and route drivers. You will strive to provide excellent customer satisfaction with timely deliveries and clear communication.

Applicants must be 21+, physically capable of lifting 60+ pounds, and hold a valid driver's license. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Capable of lifting more than 60 pounds, standing long periods, climbing stairs/ladders, bending and carrying products on ramps and walkways.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between facilities and route drivers.
• Observes traffic laws and road conditions while driving.
• Provides excellent customer satisfaction through prompt delivery and clear communication.
• Performs daily inspection of the delivery vehicle and checks fluid levels and tire condition.

Overview Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 29 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting more than 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid driver's license.

How you will make an Impact

• Operates a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys, and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle including all fluid levels, tire pressure, and tire condition, evaluating general roadworthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
