Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a dedicated Route Driver to service our customers with reliable box truck deliveries at 29 branches nationwide. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering products to apartment complexes and other distribution points, ensuring timely, accurate service and high customer satisfaction.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 100+ pounds, and at least 1 year of box truck experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Capable of lifting over 100 pounds and physically fit for standing, climbing, bending and carrying items.
• Minimum 1 year of prior box truck experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities and customer sites.
• Follow traffic laws, signs and safe driving practices.
• Aim for excellent customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate deliveries and clear communications.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Deliver appliances to maintenance managers and customers.
• Conduct in-house deliveries when needed.

Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 29 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 100 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.

How you will make an Impact

• Operates a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities, apartment complexes and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of delivery vehicle including: all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, evaluating general road worthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
• Deliver appliances to maintenance managers as well as customers.
• Perform in-house deliveries when necessary.
