Job summary

The Route Driver (Hybrid NonCDL) at WMHS and Medical Waste handles document destruction and medical waste pickup, serving clients and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will drive on scheduled routes, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and support the team with on-site tasks as needed.

This position operates in a hybrid environment with a 4x10 schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri).

Qualifications

• 3 years experience preferably in driving Shred Trucks and Box Trucks.
• Must be 21 or older.
• May require immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
• Valid Driver's License.
• All CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite/offsite document destruction and medical waste transport.
• Plan daily schedule based on customer needs and provided paperwork.
• Provide high level of customer service and handle route changes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks and report maintenance.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with DOT regulations.
• Communicate changes to routes to supervisor/Dispatcher.

Skills

3 years experience driving shred/box

Valid Driver's License

21+ years old

Education

High School Diploma or GED
