Job summary

Compass Group USA (Canteen) seeks a full-time Route Driver - SmartService in Belvidere, IL to deliver products along an established route and maintain inventory at client sites.

You will provide top-notch service, load and unload as needed, and manage machine inventory. Must have a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior driving/customer service experience is preferred. Benefits include coffee, snacks, shoe allowance, and uniform reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Pre-route, ensure truck is loaded with products for all scheduled machines following procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load machines with product using a hand cart and return with empty totes.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at client locations.
• Provide high-quality client and customer service in all job aspects.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines and report issues to maintenance.
