Job summary

Culligan by WaterCo is seeking a delivery driver based in Newburgh, NY. You will interface with customers, manage routes, perform vehicle inspections and deliver water, tanks, salts and related products.

The role requires a clean driving record and a valid license; a DOT physical and background checks apply. Responsibilities include handling payments, maintaining route books, operating forklifts and other equipment, and working overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Clean driving record and valid drivers license (CDL may be required).
• DOT physical required at hire and every two years; drug screen and background check per state and federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers; perform routine tasks including order entry and identifying opportunities for additional products and services.
• Maintain routes and accounts; assist with collections and minimum delivery requirements.
• Perform vehicle inspections (DVIR and monthly inspections).
• Deliver/exchange all types of P/E tanks, bottled water, salt, chemicals and filters on routes.
• Collect and document receipts from customers; complete paperwork clearly (delivery tickets, route books).
• Operate carts, dollies, forklifts, lift gates, hand trucks and hand tools.
• Work overtime as needed to finish routes.
• Adhere to company policies and wear safety equipment as required.
• Follow safety and security standards.
