Job summary

The Class Produce Group is seeking a Route Driver to load, deliver, and unload orders to customer locations across the Jessup, MD area. You will drive a Class A tractor-trailer, adhere to DOT regulations, and complete required paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities include safe operation, daily equipment checks, timely local deliveries, and coordination with customers. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed, and prior produce or warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of Class A tractor-trailer driving.
• Must be free of any moving violations and/or violation points.
• Must be flexible to work any 5 days of the week including holidays.
• Must possess and maintain a permanent Class A Tractor Trailer commercial driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education Requirements

High school Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.

Training, Skills, Licenses

Class B Commercial Driver’s License required. 1 year CDL driving experience required. 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, Electric Pallet Jack experience and/or Produce experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
