About Us:

Roo's Sanitation is located outside of Worthing, SD, providing service to Beresford, Hudson, Lennox, Harrisburg, Tea, Sioux Falls and rural. We are dedicated to providing efficient and environmentally friendly services to our community.

Job Overview:

As a Route Driver with Roo's Sanitation, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class A/B CDL vehicle to collect and transport garbage and recycling along designated routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive designated routes in a timely manner, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Collect waste materials from residential and commercial customers, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery schedules, documenting any issues or delays encountered through a provided tablet and TeleRoute software.
• Communicate effectively with customers and supervisor, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional manner.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any mechanical issues for immediate repair.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a Route Driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
