Job summary

Tailored Brands is seeking a Route Driver to move and deliver merchandise to store locations on assigned HUB routes. You will drive a 26 ft box truck, unload and reload freight, and ensure timely, safe deliveries across the Tailored Brands store network in the Richmond area.

You’ll need a valid non-CDL license, pass a DOT physical and company road test, and maintain a clean driving record. This role supports our stores and distribution operations with professional service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (Non CDL) for 26 ft box truck under 26,000 lbs.
• Pass a Company Road test and a DOT physical including drug screen.
• Clean driving record: max 2 moving violations in 24 months or 3 in 36 months.
• No DUI’s, DWI, or license suspension in last 10 years.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in past 12 months.
• Familiar with surrounding market and neighboring cities.
• Able to perform duties across HUB distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely deliveries to Tailored Brands store network.
• Unload, process and reload merchandise and freight.
• Drive 26 ft box trucks on HUB routes delivering to stores.
• Scan logs and manifests into hub systems.
• Assist in data reconciliation and transfer discrepancies.
• Maintain security of HUB equipment and tools.
• Work within Transportation Safety guidelines.

• Report injuries promptly.
• Support corporate mission and work with stores and vendors.
• Collaborate in team settings.

About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Route Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the movement and delivery of merchandise and products to store locations within assigned routes in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Ensure timely deliveries to the Tailored Brands store network
• Unload, process and reload merchandise and freight
• Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle on HUB routes and deliver merchandise to stores
• Pack and ship merchandise as required
• Scan drivers’ logs and tuxedo manifests into and out of the HUB
• Assist in the reconciliation of data entry errors, transfer discrepancies and pending transfers
• Ensure security of all HUB equipment and tools
• Perform driving function within the parameters set forth by the Transportation Safety Department
• Ensure that work areas are clean
• Report all injuries to up-line management on a timely basis
• Actively support corporate mission statement
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with stores, customers and vendors
• Work collegially in teams

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license (Non CDL). 26 FT Box Truck - Under 26,000 LBS
• Able to pass a Company Road test
• Able to pass a DOT physical, including drug screen
• Good driving record: No more than 2 moving violations in past 24 months or 3 moving violations in past 36 months
• No DUI’s, DWI, or license suspension in last 10 years
• No more than 1 preventable (DOT recordable) accident in past 12 months
• Familiar with the surround market and neighboring cities/surroundings
• Ability to work in all areas of the HUB’s distribution center and perform any necessary job duties as assigned

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

• Able to sit and remain alert while driving for a period of at least 10 hours
• Drive 26 ft. automatic transmission box trucks with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW
• Squat or crouch to handle or position freight
• Enter and exit vehicle cab minimum of 8-10 times per day. Entry and exit will be achieved with the assistance of various steps, footholds, and handholds. This requires additional bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, and balancing
• Push and/or pull 500 or more pounds on a dolly cart or manual pallet jack
• Push, pull, and lift 50 pounds without the aid of mechanical equipment at a minimal distance of 12 feet
• Frequently reach for freight at waist level, above the shoulder, or below the waist, with required movement to left or right
• Must work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• All staff employees are expected to be available to work in all areas of production as required
