Position Type: Full Time

We are looking for a Vending Route Relief Driver for the Philadelphia, MS area. This role involves route relief for vending and water delivery routes.

Job Summary

The Vending Route Driver will service Refresh vending and micro market accounts, driving company-owned vehicles to service vending machines and micro markets at customer locations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Live and model BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
• Fill vending machines, collect stale items, verify rotation of merchandise, collect money, refill bill and coin changers, report improper machine operations, conduct minor repairs to the vending machine.
• Drive a company truck to deliver items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries to accounts.
• Stock micro markets, collect stales, verify rotation of merchandise, collect money, report improper machine operations, conduct minor repairs to the micro market as required.
• Resolve customer issues when necessary.
• Perform daily vehicle pre‑trip and post‑trip reports.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation on vending vehicles and equipment.
• Report vehicle problems to proper personnel.
• Secure keys and vehicles daily.
• At the end of the day, submit all monies collected to the cash room.
• May be required to train new drivers.
• May be required to assist installation and/or service personnel as needed.

Physical Demands

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently.
• Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Drive a vehicle and enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.
• Ability to merchandise product and work up to 11 hours.

Work Environment

• Work in many different environments: outside, inside, break rooms, stores.
• Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions.
